The CCSD is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. It is observed annually from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15th. The 30-day period was set by President Reagan in 1988 & enacted into law. Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to honor the cultures, histories and contributions of Hispanics & Latino Americans to America. This year’s theme is “Pioneers of Change: Shaping the Future Together.” La frase encaja perfectamente con el tema de este año del Mes Nacional de la Herencia Hispana: "Pioneros del Cambio: Moldeando el Futuro Juntos."

🎉 Happy School Nurses Day! 🎉 Today, we celebrate the incredible individuals who are the heartbeat of our schools. School nurses do more than just take care of scraped knees and fevers; they are trusted advocates, health educators, and vital links to a healthy school environment. This year’s theme, “Nurses Make the Difference,” highlights the significant impact our school nurses have every day. Let’s take a moment to appreciate the dedication, care, and expertise that our school nurses bring to our community. Their unwavering commitment ensures that our students receive the best care possible, making a real difference in their lives. Thank you to all the school nurses out there for your hard work and compassion. You truly make a difference! 💙 #SchoolNursesDay #NursesMakeTheDifference #HealthHeroes
