While forecasts can never be certain, it is vital that our decision is made to protect the safety and well-being of each student. Chambers County Schools, in collaboration with the Chambers County Emergency Management Agency (CCEMA), is closely monitoring the potential for winter weather on Friday. We will be posting an update tomorrow morning. Please be prepared for the possibility of adjustments to the school schedule on Friday.
The Chambers County School District proudly welcomes Dr. Sharon Weldon on her first official day as Superintendent. In the 2024 election, she successfully defeated both independent and Democratic candidates to secure this elected position for the county. We are thrilled about her return to the central office and look forward to her leadership as we continue cultivating learners and producing graduates who will positively impact the world.

A fun night at the Valley-Wide Christmas Parade. Inspire Academy represented well with a third place finish in the school division.
The 4th round of the middle school Amazing Shake competition concluded last week with interviews for the 5 finalists at the CCSD. The winners of the contest are Kipton Hunter (1st), Annaleigha Tullock (2nd), and Ada Yarbrough (3rd). Congratulations to all of these students!
It's a busy day at Inspire Academy, from baking Christmas cookies in Culinary to constructing our Christmas parade float in Manufacturing and Agriculture to working on automobiles. Inspire students are getting it done.

The CCSD welcomed Mr. Cole Flanders, his family and members of his new Chick-fil-A team for a new store Ribbon Cutting & Open House held at the new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Valley this morning. The store's grand opening for the public is planned for Thursday, December 5th.

Please help us stock our Inspired 2 Serve Food Pantry this week at Inspire Academy for the Iron Bowl Food Drive to serve the LaFayette community. This is our final week & are thankful for all donations. Suggested items include green beans, corn, cranberry sauce & boxed stuffing.
This November, Gov. Kay Ivey is calling on Alabamians to recognize our hard-working educators during the 5th Annual Thank Alabama Teachers observance. #ThankALTeachers is a statewide movement to help us celebrate the difference our teachers are making with students in the CCSD!
CTE students in Mrs. Heath's class participated in a virtual simulation webinar for "Workforce Readiness-Understanding Taxes" presented by EverFi. The classroom workshop provided group exercises regarding the importance of taxes and their impact on society.
