Students from Inspire Academy as part of their service learning project working with the food pantry put together food donation items for ten local LaFayette families. The staff and students at Inspire Academy in our CTE programs are thankful they can continue to give back to the local LaFayette community to serve those in need. Inspire Academy Principal, Mr. Bo Oates and his team are leading this effort in cooperation with Mr. Doug Martin and Mr. Butch Busby who represent the Mission Outreach Team from the First Baptist Church of LaFayette. Pictured below are Mission Outreach Team Members, Dr. Butch Busby, Mr. Doug Martin, Inspire Academy Principal, Mr. Bo Oates and CCSD Superintendent, Dr. Sharon Weldon with a group of Inspire Academy students that organized the Service Learning Project with the Inspired 2 Serve Food Pantry to make this month's donation to serve ten local families.

The CCSD partnered this month with Mastery Prep to bring their ACT Boot Camp to our 11th graders at both LaFayette & Valley High Schools. These 2 days had our students in high-impact workshops with expert instructors to help them excel on next month's district wide ACT test.
